Director, Marketing Operations (AI)

Location: New York City office, hybrid

Salary: $188,000–$242,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and lead the next generation of the Marketing Operations function.
• Own demand operations, customer journeys, handoffs, and re-engagement across marketing channels.
• Define marketing activation capabilities, platform strategy, integrations, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Develop marketing intelligence systems that measure business impact and improve customer experiences.
• Build safe and effective AI capabilities, including agent context, templates, human-in-the-loop rules, and observability standards.
• Partner with Engineering, Revenue Operations, Product, Data & Analytics, and Security & IT while hiring and developing senior individual contributors.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in marketing, business, or GTM operations, including marketing effectiveness in a B2B or hybrid growth model.
• Production experience building AI solutions that deliver business impact, with appropriate safety guardrails.
• Technical fluency in composable CDP architectures, warehouse-native systems, reverse ETL, data analytics, and SQL.
• Experience with modern marketing activation and CRM platforms and agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Opencode, and Codex.
• Experience hiring and growing senior individual contributors and navigating complex technical and organizational environments.
• Ability to build partnerships and operating agreements across business and technical functions.
