TL;DR

Aftermarket Sales Manager (Defense): Managing the Aftermarket Sales Team to drive growth and achieve margin targets with an accent on team coaching, performance metrics, and customer relationship management. Focus on optimizing departmental reporting, executing monthly forecasts, and managing government RFQ/solicitations.

Location: Beloit, Wisconsin. Must be a US Citizen and provide proof of citizenship (no dual citizenship allowed per NOFORN requirements).

A leading marine defense contractor providing reliable power systems, parts, and aftermarket services to the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, and Canadian Coast Guard.

What you will do

  • Coach, train, and supervise the Aftermarket Sales Team to maximize overall performance and results.
  • Manage customer relationships and proactively drive growth to achieve sales and margin targets.
  • Execute and report on monthly forecasts and optimize departmental metrics and standardization.
  • Develop winning sales strategies in collaboration with Service, Operations, and Pricing departments.
  • Manage CRM processes and tools to document activities and improve process efficiencies.
  • Review contracts, terms and conditions, and interpret government Request for Quotes (RFQ)/Solicitations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation, quoting, customer service, or management.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or direct supervisory experience.
  • Proof of US Citizenship is mandatory (NOFORN requirement); no dual citizenship.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret government contracts and RFQs.
