Product Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Product Manager (Fintech/NoCode): Owning the NoCode Payment Integration (NCPI) marketplace and merchant operations portfolio with an accent on coordinating external development with internal engineering and improving the merchant-facing experience. Focus on driving multi-horizon marketplace strategy, conducting rigorous product discovery, and scaling payment solutions for business operators.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Santa Barbara, CA). Must reside in CA, IL, TX, MN, CO, GA, CT, NY, or MA

Salary: $140,000 – $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Define the product vision, strategy, and quarterly roadmap for NCPI and merchant operations.
• Coordinate external NCPI development with internal engineering, defining integration contracts and acceptance criteria.
• Improve the merchant experience across the operational product surface, advocating for usability and reducing friction.
• Manage the product backlog using Agile/Scrum, prioritizing based on business value and merchant impact.
• Lead product discovery through merchant interviews, partner analysis, and competitive research.
• Collaborate with engineering during sprint planning and execution to ensure outcome-focused delivery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• 3+ years of experience driving Agile/Scrum teams (sprint planning, backlog health).
• Experience managing products developed by external vendors and coordinating with internal engineering.
• Proven track record with API, platform, or integration products for technical partners.
• Experience owning SMB or merchant-facing product experiences.
• Must reside in one of the following US states: CA, IL, TX, MN, CO, GA, CT, NY, or MA

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS within regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Product management certifications (CSPO, PSPO).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
