What you will do

  • Own the investigation lifecycle for payment issues from definition to root-cause analysis and recommendation.
  • Collaborate with analytics, revenue, and support teams to connect data with qualitative context.
  • Analyze revenue impact, root cause, and urgency for payment opportunities.
  • Produce intelligence artifacts detailing problems, proposed solutions, and business value.
  • Translate findings into prioritized opportunities for the product backlog.
  • Coordinate with external carrier partner finance teams and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US
  • 3+ years of experience in payment analysis, payment operations, or financial reconciliation.
  • Deep understanding of payment flows including ACH, reconciliation, retry logic, and chargebacks.
  • Strong investigative skills with the ability to trace issues across complex, multi-party systems.
  • Experience working in a payments company, SaaS platform, or fintech environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
