What you will do

• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to design and improve test fixtures and systems.
• Develop automated test processes for verification, validation, and manufacturing activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including Test Plans and System Requirements.
• Analyze test data and verify capability using statistical tools.
• Utilize bench-top equipment for system evaluation and debugging.
• Interpret circuit board schematics and layouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience in system test or product development.
• Proficiency in Python or C# for test automation.
• Strong understanding of test instrumentation and measurement principles.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco at least 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with electromechanical or wearable medical devices.
• Prior work in a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 or FDA 21 CFR Part 820 standards.
• Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis.
