TL;DR
Sales Operations Analyst (SaaS): Managing and optimizing internal business systems to support sales and revenue generation with an accent on reporting analytics, commissions processing, and data modeling. Focus on building advanced Excel models, developing Looker dashboards, and streamlining cross-functional workflows between Sales, Billing, and IT.
Location: Hybrid. Must be based in or be able to work from the San Ramon, San Francisco, or Dallas offices (3 days/week in-office required)
Salary: $65,300 - $101,000 USD

What you will do
- Build and update advanced Excel data models to report sales booking metrics, customer invoicing, and channel commissions.
- Develop and manage commissions processes and dashboards using Google Looker.
- Extract and manipulate raw data from multiple databases to provide actionable reporting for Sales, Billing, and Executives.
- Optimize and manage data within Salesforce, Logisense, and VCC production records.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to automate workflows, standardize reporting, and manage project milestones.
- Handle custom special incentives for external partners and resolve commissions inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-8+ years of analyst or reporting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling techniques and advanced Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of Business Systems such as Google Looker, Salesforce, Logisense, or Coupa.
- Significant understanding of SaaS business models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Location: Hybrid presence (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in San Ramon, San Francisco, or Dallas offices is required.
