What you will do

• Serve as the owner's representative for commercial tenant improvements, retail repositioning, and office buildouts.
• Lead project planning, including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and feasibility assessments.
• Manage architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors from design and permitting through project closeout.
• Review construction drawings and specifications to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete reporting to ensure financial accountability.
• Conduct site visits and provide oversight to ensure quality standards and safety requirements are met.

Requirements

• 8+ years of construction management experience focusing on commercial tenant improvements, retail, or office projects.
• Experience working for a commercial real estate owner, developer, or general contractor.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, structural considerations, permitting, and code compliance.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Bluebeam.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets and contracts from preconstruction through closeout.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in San Mateo, California.
