ILS Engineer (Defense)

What you will do

• Develop ILS capabilities for equipment during project development and in-service support phases.
• Perform supportability analysis, level of repair analysis, and spares ranging and scaling.
• Conduct whole life cost analysis and manage the Logistic Information Repository.
• Support the Bid Management team in pricing and material generation for Training and ILS bids.
• Execute obsolescence analysis and evaluate new technologies to improve ILS processes.
• Travel within the UK and overseas to provide ILS services to customers.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Enfield, UK
• HNC qualification or higher in an Electronic Engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of support engineering/ILS discipline.
• Experience with Def-Stan 00-60 / 00-600 and the Defence Logistic Framework.
• Proficiency in technical writing and compiling detailed specifications in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with international customers.

Nice to have

• Experience with ASD S3000L and its application to supportability analysis.
