HSSE Manager (Defence Manufacturing) (Health, Safety, Security & Environment): Building and continuously improving the HSSE management system for industrial UAV manufacturing with an accent on occupational safety, environmental compliance, security, and operational resilience. Focus on conducting risk assessments and audits, investigating incidents, coordinating emergency preparedness, and embedding a proactive safety culture across production and support functions.
Location: On-site in Gilching, Bavaria, Germany

What you will do
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company-wide HSSE management system.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental protection, security, and internal requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, workplace inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Create emergency response plans, coordinate crisis management and evacuation processes, and deliver safety training.
- Monitor HSSE KPIs, prepare management reports, and advise managers and employees across Production, Supply Chain, Flight Test, Quality, and Administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a comparable technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in HSSE, HSE, occupational safety, or a related compliance function.
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defence, automotive, or another high-tech industry is preferred.
- Experience establishing management systems, conducting audits and risk assessments, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective measures.
- Structured, independent, solution-oriented, and hands-on working style with strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Professional communication skills in English or German are required.
