What you will do

• Design and integrate RF hardware, including SDRs, antennas, filters, and power amplifiers for military UAV platforms.
• Develop robust communication architectures for command, control, telemetry, and payload data transfer.
• Support the implementation of electronic warfare functions such as signal detection, jamming, spoofing, and RF hardening.
• Perform RF simulations, link budget calculations, and range performance modeling.
• Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineers on antenna placement, EMC/EMI mitigation, and SWaP optimization.
• Plan and execute lab testing, range validation, and flight trials ensuring compliance with NATO STANAGs and MIL standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Experience in RF systems design, specifically in aerospace, defense, or tactical communications.
• Proficiency with software-defined radios, RF front-end design, and antenna system integration.
• Experience with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers) and simulation tools like HFSS, CST, or MATLAB.
• Ability to travel to various testing sites in Europe.
• Eligibility for security clearance and fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Awareness of civil UAV certification requirements (e.g., SC-Light UAS).
• Proficiency in German.
