Location: Must be based in the US

Salary: $220,000–$240,000 + Bonus

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end business development strategy for federal agencies and state Medicaid programs.
  • Lead complex sales cycles including RFP strategy, opportunity shaping, and contract negotiations.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of federal and state government contract opportunities.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with prime contractors and systems integrators to pursue joint procurements.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and engage with government stakeholders to drive thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and product teams to ensure alignment on government-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business development or sales selling to federal/state government agencies.
  • Deep understanding of federal (FAR, GSA, GWACs) and state procurement processes.
  • Substantive knowledge of Medicaid program structures and CMS oversight.
  • Proven success closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in the public sector.
  • Existing network of relationships within CMS or state Medicaid agencies.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Medicaid RAC programs or Medicare program integrity.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML or technology-enabled fraud detection solutions.
  • Prior federal government service or experience with a major federal integrator.
  • Experience in a high-growth, private equity-backed healthcare technology company.
