What you will do

• Lead commercial teams on major construction projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Drive a business development-focused culture within the organization.
• Develop commercial strategies and lead complex contractual negotiations.
• Ensure project delivery remains in strict accordance with contract terms.
• Manage accounts and provide strategic advice on dispute avoidance and resolution.

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying.
• Extensive knowledge of main standard forms of contract including NEC and JCT.
• Proven experience leading commercial departments on major infrastructure or civil projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to work on major projects in the UK and overseas.

Nice to have

• Membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• Additional qualifications such as LLM, FCIArb, or FRICS.
