Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Deliver professional assignments and support senior team members on key major projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered in strict accordance with the contract.
• Prepare management accounts, including project cost and value reporting.
• Handle subcontract procurement, management, and maintenance of project records.
• Manage changes, including raising and valuing variations and compensation events.

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or similar (2:1 or higher preferred).
• Working towards membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• Proven experience in a senior commercial position with a UK main contractor.
• Sound working knowledge of NEC and JCT standard forms of contracts.
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment with strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel across the UK and stay away from home Monday to Friday
