What you will do

• Develop accurate cost estimates and establish project budgets based on specifications and drawings.
• Manage project defined costs including labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Administer contracts, ensure compliance with terms, and propose risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle, reporting on overruns or savings.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients (SSE) to ensure seamless delivery.
• Prepare regular financial reports, cashflow forecasts, and budget status updates for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and cost estimating.
• Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
