Software Technical PM (AI)

TL;DR

Software Technical PM (AI): Managing day-to-day planning and execution of complex software projects across multiple sub-teams with an accent on cross-team integration and dependency management. Focus on enabling LLM/generative AI for the Voyager SDK and improving delivery predictability through structured execution plans.

Location: Hybrid/Remote in Europe (incl. UK). Priority given to candidates based in Belgium, Germany, or Italy. Relocation available to Italy or the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end execution of complex software projects across Runtime, ML, Compiler, Backend, and Apps teams.
• Develop detailed project plans at the task and dependency level with defined technical ownership.
• Coordinate the integration process, defining strategies and tracking milestones for shared environments.
• Establish and drive clear definition-of-done criteria for functional correctness, performance, and release readiness.
• Lead coordination standups to identify blockers within 24 hours and track resolution.
• Maintain project-level status views, risk registers, and decision logs for program leadership.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in technical program/project management within semiconductor toolchains, compilers, AI/ML frameworks, or embedded systems.
• Proven track record of coordinating cross-team software integration involving multiple codebases and build systems.
• Technical literacy in compiler toolchains, runtime systems, model optimization, and inference pipelines.
• Experience managing by influence in matrixed environments without direct line authority.
• Proficiency in English: C1 (outstanding verbal and written communication) required.
• Must be based in a European country (including the UK).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment pipelines (quantization, compilation, inference), specifically for LLM/generative AI workloads.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe-inspired planning methodologies, including PI planning and backlog refinement.
