Vice President (Legal)

What you will do

• Provide legal support for the firm’s reinsurance business and equities derivatives structuring across various APAC jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate reinsurance agreements and derivatives arrangements.
• Advise on structuring issues while accounting for regulatory and reputational concerns.
• Manage relationships with external counsel to ensure appropriate legal comfort.
• Partner with traders to address legal issues arising in daily trading activities.
• Monitor and drive the implementation of regulatory developments relating to the reinsurance business.

Requirements

• 8+ years PQE, qualified in HK, English, or NY law.
• Proven experience and knowledge in reinsurance, derivatives, and regulatory matters.
• International law firm or international work experience.
• Strong legal and business judgment, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to proactively advise senior stakeholders on complex situations.
