What you will do

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription and usage-based models.
• Manage Remaining Performance Obligations (RPO) reporting and deferred revenue schedules.
• Produce full GAAP financial statements and manage monthly/quarterly reporting cycles.
• Partner with Deal Desk, Sales, and Legal to structure scalable contracts and pricing.
• Implement and automate finance systems (e.g., ChargeBee) using APIs and AI tools.
• Mentor junior team members to build functional depth and redundancy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting experience in high-growth SaaS or tech companies.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606, RPO, and deferred revenue.
• Strong US GAAP technical accounting skills.
• Experience with modern finance and billing systems (e.g., ChargeBee).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco.

• Active CPA or eligibility.
• Big 4 or public accounting background.
• Experience with IPO readiness and equity administration.
• Proven use of AI for streamlining accounting workflows.
