What you will do

• Own end-to-end billing operations, from order form review and PO validation to issuing accurate invoices.
• Manage revenue recognition (ASC 606) across subscription, cloud, usage-based, and professional services contracts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and drive collections in partnership with Sales and Customer Success.
• Maintain sales tax compliance and coordinate filings across multi-state nexus.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline and modernize accounting workflows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years specializing in billing, AR, and revenue recognition in a SaaS environment.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and the ability to independently apply guidance to complex contracts.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and experience with sales tax tools like Anrok or Avalara.
• Must be based on the US West Coast.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to modernize accounting functions.
