Staff Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Salary: $190,900 — $253,750 USD

What you will do

• Create novel interfaces for GenAI agents that manage complex workflows with a focus on inspectability and transparency.
• Partner with product management and design teams to build intuitive, scalable, and extensible solutions.
• Lead hands-on full-stack development to create dynamic, user-centric experiences.
• Drive product-led growth through the implementation of seamless onboarding and sharing capabilities.
• Direct the future of agentic applications at Databricks in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Establish company-wide best practices for building high-value AI products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 10+ years of experience with server-side web technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go).
• Proven experience building and shipping end-to-end generative AI products with significant UI/UX components.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, VueJs, or Ember).
• Strong product mindset with the ability to iterate quickly from ambiguous problems to MVPs.
• Must be based in New York City to work from the NYC Engineering office.
