Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Mountain View, CA, United States; telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $187,075–$234,000 annually, with potential variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications spanning front-end interfaces, REST APIs, and application servers.
• Build and optimize user-facing features with TypeScript and React.
• Develop server-side services and tooling using Node.js and Flask.
• Write and maintain backend systems and services in Java and C++.
• Perform data analytics and data visualization to inform product decisions and evaluate system performance.
• Apply algorithm design to solve complex engineering problems across distributed systems.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a closely related field; a suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
• Experience working on infrastructure for distributed systems or cloud-native applications, or building full-stack applications spanning front-end interfaces, REST APIs, and application servers.
• Alternatively, experience training and productionizing machine learning or information retrieval systems.
• Experience with full-stack development, TypeScript, React, data analytics, data visualization, Node.js, Flask, Java, C++, and algorithm design.
