What you will do

  • Administer full-cycle payroll in accordance with Canadian federal and provincial employment standards, including statutory deductions and CRA filings.
  • Manage benefit premium payments, annual enrollment, and retirement plan funding and compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries and maintain accurate employee data and documentation.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, and interviewing.
  • Ensure adherence to federal and provincial employment laws and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Analyze compensation trends and market salary data to support internal organizational structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of HR or payroll experience, preferably within Canadian multi-province environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CRA requirements, CPP/EI, and T4 reporting.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll platforms such as Workday, UKG, or ADP.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Availability for a part-time position.
