TL;DR

Staff People Business Partner (Legaltech): Shaping people strategy and organizational architecture for Finance, Product, and Content teams with an accent on executive coaching and business transformation. Location: Hybrid; must be based in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, London, New York City, or Sydney

Salary: $112,100 – $168,100 CAD

What you will do

  • Serve as the principal People advisor to executive leaders across Finance, Product, and Content.
  • Lead multi-phase organizational design, operating model transformations, and large-scale restructures.
  • Provide deep executive coaching to VP and C-suite leaders on effectiveness and team dynamics.
  • Manage high-complexity employee relations and lead sensitive internal investigations.
  • Direct workforce planning and talent strategy aligned with multi-year business roadmaps.
  • Mentor and coach Senior and mid-level PBPs to elevate the standard of people partnership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR/PBP experience, with significant time at a senior or Staff level.
  • Proven track record advising C-suite leaders in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Deep expertise in organizational design, executive coaching, and workforce planning.
  • Experience supporting both Finance and Product/R&D functions.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Must be based in one of the listed hub cities (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, London, NYC, Sydney) to meet hybrid requirements.

  • Experience supporting companies through pre-IPO scaling or post-merger integration.
  • Expertise in aligning workforce planning with disciplined financial planning cycles.
  • Background scaling People practices across multiple global geographies.
