What you will do

• Build and ship features for the healthcare integration API and provider-facing SaaS product.
• Write clean, well-tested, production-ready code in a high-stakes environment.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning.
• Debug and investigate issues within complex distributed systems.
• Develop indirect integrations with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver projects end-to-end.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience (internships and open-source count).
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Ruby, Python, Go, or Java).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP/functional programming.
• Experience with relational databases and query optimization.
• Must be based in or able to work from Seattle, WA.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of API design, webhooks, or third-party integrations.
• Background in healthcare technology (HL7 or FHIR standards).
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
