What you will do

• Process full-cycle multi-state and international contractor payroll, including bonuses, commissions, and reimbursements.
• Audit timecards, PTO, tax updates, and garnishments to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Manage 401(k) payroll deductions, employer contributions, and reconciliation.
• Prepare payroll reports for Finance, HR, and FP&A to support budget vs. actual analysis.
• Collaborate with Accounting to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Serve as the internal SME for payroll systems and lead process improvement projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive payroll or finance operations experience with full-cycle ownership.
• Strong understanding of multi-state payroll and wage/tax compliance.
• Experience with payroll accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
• Must be based in the US.
