What you will do
- Perform second-level review of grant compliance documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal QA/QC reviews of all programs and functions and prepare detailed compliance reports.
- Collaborate with program teams to resolve identified compliance issues to completion.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of compliance monitoring and internal control processes.
- Provide functional oversight and guidance to Compliance & Monitoring staff and program liaisons.
- Oversee corrective action plans (CAPs) to ensure timely resolution of findings and document progress in the system of record.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Law from an accredited university.
- 4+ years of professional office experience in finance, accounting, audit, and/or compliance.
- Knowledge of 2 CFR § 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in Tulsa, OK, or via approved BDO remote/office options.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience in policy and compliance, emergency management, disaster recovery, or federally funded programs.
- Knowledge of rural healthcare initiatives.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools.
