What you will do

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams, including the management of other managers and architects.
• Drive the execution and delivery of features across a technical stack involving Go, Python, and Java.
• Participate in architecture discussions, planning, and cross-functional coordination with product owners.
• Oversee sprint planning and daily stand-ups in collaboration with ScrumMasters.
• Refine on-call processes to ensure strict adherence to high availability SLAs.
• Partner with engineering leadership to align on objectives, priorities, and risk management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and scaling large-scale complex distributed systems or fullstack B2B/B2C SaaS applications.
• 3+ years of experience managing managers and architects.
• In-depth working knowledge of at least one object-oriented compiled language such as Java or C++.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and best practices in design, testing, and deployment.
• A related technical degree.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with ASR, TTS, Voice-to-Voice models, Telephony, SIP, and PSTN technologies.
• Knowledge of building microservices using cloud providers like AWS, GCE, or Azure.
• Experience in AI technologies including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP.
• Exposure to the hirify.global developer platform or administration.
