What you will do

• Oversee daily operations of assigned IT development units and manage technical aspects of the software team.
• Assign, monitor, and review the progress and accuracy of development work.
• Lead staff management activities including hiring, promoting, and conducting performance reviews.
• Motivate and develop staff to maximize individual contributions and team effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, project objectives, budgets, and staffing allocations.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical subject matter expert in software development.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and develop technical staff.
• Ability to manage team-level project details and lead during transition periods.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Chattanooga, TN.
