Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of full-stack engineers building Remix's core planning tools.
• Define technical direction for products combining geospatial data, React UIs, and backend services.
• Partner with product managers and designers to translate user insights into engineering priorities.
• Mentor engineers through 1:1s and career growth initiatives.
• Improve engineering processes, including code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with other teams to align on shared infrastructure and APIs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong full-stack foundation.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams and fostering a growth-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/React and Rails, Python, or similar backend technologies.
• Strong understanding of databases and performance optimization for scaling products.
• Must be based in or able to work from New York (hybrid 2-3 days onsite).
