TL;DR

Team Lead Business Development (SaaS): Leading and scaling the BDR team for the SME/Mid-Market segment to build an AI-native outbound pipeline engine with an accent on autonomous sequencing and signal-based prospecting. Focus on integrating AI tooling to compress time-to-relevance with buyers and optimizing the conversion from qualified opportunities to closed-won revenue.

Location: Munich, Germany (Hybrid options available)

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the BDR team for the Digital segment, managing day-to-day enablement and career progression.
  • Design and evolve an AI-native outbound motion utilizing AI agents, autonomous sequencing, and signal-based prospecting.
  • Own the pipeline contribution for SME/Mid-Market revenue, including meeting bookings and qualification rates.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to refine ICP, align campaigns, and optimize lead routing.
  • Build the operational playbook including messaging frameworks and qualification standards for the segment.
  • Recruit and onboard top BDR talent to create a pipeline for internal promotion into AE roles.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work from Munich, Germany.
  • 3–6 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales development.
  • 1–2 years of experience leading or managing a BDR/SDR team.
  • Demonstrable experience rebuilding outbound motions using AI tools and automated workflows.
  • Proven track record of pipeline generation within the SME/Mid-Market segment.
  • Fluent English proficiency required.

  • Proficiency in German, Spanish, Italian, French, or Dutch.
