Project Quality Manager (Renewable Energy)

Salary: $150,000 – $170,000 CAD + up to 15% bonus

What you will do

• Develop and manage Project Quality Plans for North American wind energy projects.
• Review quality requirements during the Sales Offer and Tendering phase to ensure feasibility.
• Coordinate customer audits and inspection visits, monitoring and implementing all resulting actions.
• Manage major non-conformities identified during transportation, installation, and commissioning of components.
• Act as the primary quality focal point for customer claims and supplier issues.
• Ensure a complete and adequate transfer of all quality documentation during handover to O&M teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Quality Manager in complex technical projects (civil construction, manufacturing, or plant engineering).
• Proficiency in developing Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001 and APQP.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship and have the ability to obtain a US passport.
• High willingness and flexibility for domestic and international travel to project sites.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass periodic driver abstract checks.

Nice to have

• Professional training in Six Sigma, 8D, or FMEA.
• Prior experience specifically within the wind energy sector or similar energy industries.
