TL;DR

Location: Home-based (Remote). Preference for candidates based on the West Coast (USA/Canada)

What you will do

  • Direct and coach a team of Sales Account Managers to achieve profitable growth for targeted pharmaceutical products.
  • Create and maintain sales territories and account assignments to maximize team productivity.
  • Develop and implement local sales plans aligned with corporate product and market growth strategies.
  • Conduct joint sales calls to provide first-hand coaching in selling skills and increase penetration of key accounts.
  • Manage key supplier relationships specifically within pharmaceutical API, excipient, and solvent product families.
  • Drive the utilization of the CRM (Salesforce) system to maintain customer profiles and manage activity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales/commercial positions with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry sales and/or technical experience.
  • Proven experience leading a technical sales team, including coaching and team building.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage KPIs, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  • Strong preference for candidates located on the West Coast.

Nice to have

  • Laboratory or formulation experience.
