What you will do
- Direct and coach a team of Sales Account Managers to achieve profitable growth for targeted pharmaceutical products.
- Create and maintain sales territories and account assignments to maximize team productivity.
- Develop and implement local sales plans aligned with corporate product and market growth strategies.
- Conduct joint sales calls to provide first-hand coaching in selling skills and increase penetration of key accounts.
- Manage key supplier relationships specifically within pharmaceutical API, excipient, and solvent product families.
- Drive the utilization of the CRM (Salesforce) system to maintain customer profiles and manage activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales/commercial positions with a proven track record of success.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry sales and/or technical experience.
- Proven experience leading a technical sales team, including coaching and team building.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage KPIs, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Strong preference for candidates located on the West Coast.

- Laboratory or formulation experience.
