What you will do

• Scale data processing and storage layers from terabytes to petabytes to accommodate a growing customer base.
• Build and maintain real-time, bidirectional integrations with dozens of EHR systems.
• Drive core system improvements to enable 100x growth in the number of practices, patients, and developers.
• Own cross-functional projects from technical design and decomposition to launch and rollout.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and product managers to deliver on ambitious engineering goals.
• Set the technical and cultural tone for the expanding engineering presence in Canada.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on scalable backend systems and platforms.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with common DevOps tools and practices.
• Strong grasp of quality and security engineering principles.
• Excellent systems-level thinking and ability to manage complex distributed architectures.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Toronto or Vancouver, Canada.
