What you will do

• Lead the monthly and quarterly close for assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coach and mentor team members, overseeing their professional development and growth.
• Manage subsidiary accounting work performed by offshore teams.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners to align actuals, forecasts, and business assumptions.
• Design and implement SOX-aligned controls and AI-powered automation to eliminate manual work.
• Lead accounting for acquisitions, including onboarding new entities and aligning policies.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, CA.
• CPA certification required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience (including 3+ years at a Big 4 firm and 2+ years in industry).
• 3+ years of people management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.
