Physician Support Associate

Location: On-site in East Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Salary: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

hirify.global, through its Jefferson Radiology practice, provides outpatient imaging services across Connecticut and supports radiology practices nationwide.

What you will do

• Coordinate physician workflows across Jefferson Radiology outpatient sites.
• Organize workflows to maximize radiologist productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor exam work lists and assign STAT and subspecialty exams to appropriate radiologists.
• Coordinate coverage for radiologists during lunch breaks and collaborate with other Physician Support Associates on subspecialty assignments.
• Review daily radiologist schedules and coordinate exams, procedures, STAT cases, meetings, and conference calls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of medical office experience; radiology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology specialties.
• Strong customer service orientation and a pleasant, professional manner.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, computer skills, and Excel proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with physician schedules or facilitating physician flow.
