What you will do
- Provision virtual machines through VMware and Hyper-V platforms, including physical server management.
- Manage domain accounts, security groups, and Active Directory administration.
- Deploy web application updates from staging to production servers and manage IIS services and application pools.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades via the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize server performance and reliability.
- Monitor storage (SAN/NAS) and participate in disaster recovery drills and testing.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience with IT maintenance and technical support.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server 2016+, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IIS.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
- Working knowledge of Dell and HP server hardware.
- Must be based in the USA; available for rotating on-call scheduling and work outside normal business hours.
- Ability to perform on-site physical work including lifting equipment and cabling.
Nice to have
- Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, or MCITP.
- Azure Fundamentals certification.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
