TL;DR
E/E Quality Engineer (Automotive): Verifying product and process specifications, supplier parts, audits, and quality requirements throughout vehicle build phases with an accent on E/E commodities, traceability, and production releases. Focus on evaluating maturity, implementing FMEA measures, coordinating first-part releases, and monitoring quality status and reporting.

What you will do
- Verify product and process specifications, test instructions, process regulations, and quality requirements.
- Evaluate supplier parts across different E/E commodities and assess acceptance through inspections and audits.
- Validate timelines, deliveries, and requirements throughout the launch process.
- Monitor capability studies, FMEA measures, special characteristics, and new quality specification releases.
- Evaluate build-phase maturity, including engineering and process changes, and coordinate first-part releases with production and process associates.
- Execute traceability stress tests for hardware and software information telegrams, while monitoring and reporting status.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in quality, quality systems, quality assurance, production, or similar roles.
- Experience with product and process audits according to IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001.
- Experience with E/E commodities, production processes, product releases, non-conforming processes, and material management.
- Knowledge of 8D problem-solving tools, SAP, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management tools, KPIs, and reporting.
- Fluent English at conversational level.
Nice to have
- ISO 19011 quality auditor certification.
- Experience gathering technical information, lessons learned, concepts, and customer requirements.
