Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop plans for new product introductions in coordination with layout/design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and operations.
• Define and apply quality standards aligned with customer requirements and company standards.
• Design or specify inspection and testing processes and equipment.
• Plan and execute PPAP and FAI documentation according to customer requirements and schedules.
• Monitor and analyze customer and plant quality performance metrics.
• Implement corrective actions, process improvements, quality training, and customer audit support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent education.
• At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing environments; sheet metal process experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, 8D, 5Why, and Ishikawa methods.
• A tourist visa is preferred.
