TL;DR
Tecnico SQE (Automotive): Supporting supplier quality through incoming inspection, dimensional measurement, nonconforming material control, and corrective-action verification with an accent on engineering drawings, GD&T, PPAP, SPC, and MSA. Focus on collecting inspection evidence, supporting MRB and 8D activities, and verifying supplier corrective actions in an automotive manufacturing environment.

What you will do
- Inspect and verify incoming components and materials against drawings, specifications, control plans, and inspection criteria.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, profile projectors, surface finish testers, and other measuring equipment.
- Identify, document, segregate, and control nonconforming supplier material and support MRB activities.
- Collect measurements, samples, photographs, and other evidence for supplier quality investigations and claims.
- Support SCAR, 8D, PPAP, supplier audits, supplier development, and verification of corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records, supplier quality documentation, and performance data while communicating issues to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality, Incoming Inspection, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related function.
- Practical knowledge of dimensional and visual inspection, engineering drawings, specifications, and basic GD&T.
- Basic knowledge of SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D, nonconforming material control, MRB, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes involving plastics, metals, or electronic components is desirable.
- Basic to intermediate English and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
Nice to have
- Engineering studies in progress or completed.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Experience with CMM equipment and Minitab.
