Manufacturing and Process Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico; onsite production environment

What you will do

• Establish and optimize standard production processes for current products, new products, and engineering changes.
• Define, design, acquire, and improve assembly fixtures, gauges, mobile equipment, and manual or controlled-torque tools.
• Introduce technologies and continuous-improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with logistics on shop-floor changes, material locations, and material-control methods.
• Communicate with operating and supporting units to implement projects and improve plant KPIs.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with supply-chain management, including planning, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, value-stream mapping, workstation and flow design, and just-in-time logistics.
• Proficiency with SAP or Oracle, Power BI, advanced Excel, and data-analysis or simulation tools.
• Project-management, analysis, problem-solving, communication, planning, decision-making, influence, and negotiation skills.
• English at B1 level and Spanish at C2 level required.
