TL;DR

Senior Manager, Business Development and Account Manager (Cybersecurity): Driving the sales lifecycle and managing enterprise accounts for leading software and high-tech companies with an accent on cybersecurity solutions and strategic client relationship management. Focus on synthesizing technical content for C-suite executives, growing pipelines in the SaaS and high-tech sectors, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative security solutions.

Location: McLean, VA, US. U.S. citizenship is required. Remote work is available, but occasional in-person visits to company or customer facilities may be required.

Salary: $142,900 – $266,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process and manage strategic enterprise accounts within the software and high-tech sectors.
  • Identify and establish new client relationships to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with market and capability teams to develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams to solve complex client needs with innovative security solutions.
  • Communicate and present technical strategies and key messages to C-suite executives and senior business leaders.
  • Support marketing initiatives, intellectual capital development, and industry events.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including security strategy and advanced cyber defense.
  • 5+ years of direct sales or delivery experience within the US-based software, SaaS, or high-tech space.
  • 5+ years of professional sales experience managing large global enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from lead generation through to deal closure.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Experience with strategy design, organizational design, and change management.
  • Knowledge of information security regulations and risk management frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience adopting AI tools and resources responsibly to accelerate productivity.
  • Master's degree.
