Data Engineer (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes integrating structured and semi-structured data using SSIS and Databricks.
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize data workflows for high performance and scalability.
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across various systems.
• Create Power BI dashboards and paginated reports to support business users.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to deliver technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience as a data engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, SSIS, and Databricks.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Blob Storage.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management, data warehousing, and Lakehouse concepts.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Cary, NC.
