Assistant Project Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Assist in managing construction project budgets and implementing program schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and review Statements of Work (SOW) through site visits and client needs assessment.
• Prepare detailed fixed-price estimates using RS Means or other unit price tools.
• Solicit and review proposals from vendors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with SOW.
• Coordinate project close-outs, including pre-final inspections and As-Built drawings.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSEQ guidelines and local requirements such as OSHA and USACE.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Proficiency in RS Means or similar estimating software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participation).
• Ability to drive between project sites and perform physical tasks in construction environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (desired).
