What you will do

• Assist in the development of municipal infrastructure projects from conceptual design through final construction documents.
• Perform technical research and basic engineering tasks under the direction of a Professional Engineer.
• Prepare construction drawings, reports, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate tasks, schedules, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
• Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination activities.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, subconsultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering.
• Experience or exposure to municipal/public works infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of water, wastewater, drainage, and underground utility systems.
• Must be located in or able to work in Houston, TX.

Nice to have

• FE Exam completed and EIT certification.
• Experience supporting construction document preparation and administration.
• Strong interest in professional development toward PE licensure.
