What you will do

• Provide technical review and analysis of contractor submittals, including shoring, post-tensioning, and bridge demolition plans.
• Evaluate change orders, RFIs, and shop drawings to prepare professional recommendations.
• Execute field inspections for bridges, retaining walls, and other infrastructure to ensure contract compliance.
• Administer construction contracts, including the development and implementation of change orders.
• Monitor contractor schedules and participate in claims analysis and dispute resolution.
• Supervise and mentor professional staff, assisting with recruitment and performance evaluations.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be based in or be able to work in Orange, CA (Hybrid).
• Valid California Class C driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
• Preferably a BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• California registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) highly preferred.
• 10+ years of construction contract management experience specifically related to bridge/structures projects.
