What you will do

• Define and evolve scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures across product lines.
• Drive end-to-end architecture across UI, APIs, data, and infrastructure to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Establish and govern engineering best practices for design, development, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, build, and deliver complex system components while providing post-release support.
• Guide and influence multiple engineering teams on architecture, design patterns, and implementation.
• Champion AI-driven engineering practices, including the adoption of AI coding assistants.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with architectural leadership.
• Strong expertise in Java (Spring ecosystem) and working knowledge of .NET.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and API design.
• BS in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Background in invoicing, payments, healthcare, finance, or supply chain domains.
• Exposure to regulated domains and compliance standards (SOC I/II, HIPAA, or GDPR).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or React.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
