What you will do

• Design and build scalable, reliable backend services and APIs using Java.
• Own the full technical lifecycle of projects from architecture and development to deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Frontend Engineers to deliver customer-centric features.
• Diagnose root causes of technical challenges and develop practical, high-quality solutions.
• Shape and evolve the backend architecture to support the company's scaling needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with deep expertise in Java.
• Proven ability to build high-quality systems and debug complex problems efficiently.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-based services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using microservices architectures.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in New York City.
