CAD Designer (CATIA V6)

What you will do

• Design and develop components, parts, and systems from concept to production.
• Perform design feasibility studies, cost analysis, strength calculations, and material selection.
• Create and maintain 3D models and layouts using CATIA V5 and V6.
• Execute hose, pipe, and harness/cable routing.
• Prepare, check, and release 2D and 3D drawings applying GD&T.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and manufacturing launch in coordination with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional engineering design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 (must); CATIA V6 is preferred.
• Experience in concept development, specification setting, and layout creation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, part construction, and GD&T.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Familiarity with PLM and engineering change processes.
