TL;DR

Strategic Finance Manager (SaaS): Driving financial planning, forecasting, and analytical frameworks for the GTM organization with an accent on revenue engine optimization and investment decisions. Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA (Required in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Salary: $168K – $186.5K

What you will do

  • Serve as the lead finance partner to GTM leadership (CRO, CMO) to drive growth investment planning and forecasting.
  • Develop analytical frameworks to decode the revenue engine, including sales productivity, CAC, payback, and retention economics.
  • Implement an AI-first mindset to automate manual spreadsheet work into AI-driven workflows.
  • Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities to shape executive strategic responses.
  • Co-own end-to-end GTM financial planning, covering annual forecasting, capacity planning, and pipeline-to-ARR modeling.
  • Build reporting infrastructure in partnership with RevOps, Data, and Accounting to make GTM performance legible.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Must be based in San Francisco, CA to support the hybrid office schedule.
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills and fluency in SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, pipeline coverage).
  • AI-first builder mentality with a strong drive for automation over manual processes.
  • Strong executive communication skills to translate complex data into actionable leadership decisions.
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
