Staff Product Manager (Vehicle Automation & Home Integration)

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Mountain View, CA or Warren, MI (minimum 3 days/week in office)

Salary: $134,700 – $245,000

What you will do

• Own the long-term product vision and roadmap for connected automation and home integration experiences.
• Conduct research, observation, and competitive benchmarking to identify unmet customer needs and derive product strategy.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, and Program teams to define end-to-end, measurable product requirements.
• Lead prioritization and trade-off decisions balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and business goals.
• Develop strategies for vehicle interactions with external ecosystems, connected devices, and automation platforms.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product effectiveness and success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience managing technology-powered digital products (PM, PMM, or tech development).
• Proven track record of defining visions and roadmaps for complex software or hardware-enabled experiences.
• Expertise in creating products that connect across platforms, services, or ecosystems.
• Must have permanent US work authorization; no immigration sponsorship provided.
• Strong narrative writing and storytelling skills for stakeholder alignment.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, HCI, or Computer Science.
• Experience with NFC, Bluetooth, or smart device orchestration frameworks.
• Expertise in products spanning mobile, web, cloud, and embedded touchpoints.
• Deep understanding of trust, privacy, and permissions in connected experiences.
