What you will do

• Support and maintain a global network infrastructure spanning multiple regions and cloud environments.
• Lead the implementation of SD-WAN, automation, and security standards across the estate.
• Manage network and security systems including firewalls, load balancers, and wireless networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce incident response times and improve system reliability.
• Design and implement migration plans for medium to high complexity projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish device configuration standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in London (UK) and able to work on-site.
• Expertise in L2/L3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP) and WAN/SD-WAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls, Citrix load balancers, and SASE platforms.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python.
• Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent skill level.
• Strong documentation skills and experience with ITIL processes.
